Which bets move the counter and which just burn days

How many days you get, and from when
The clock starts at activation. The deposit on its own starts nothing, and that one fact clears up most of what goes wrong with this bonus.

A batch of spins that was never activated expires with its activation term. For a package bonus with wagering left undone, the rule pages say nothing about the fate of the remainder: no forfeiture clause and no conversion rule. I will not guess at it here, and anyone who does is selling you a certainty the casino never wrote down.
A worked example on the promo spins
You are probably scanning this section for a euro figure. The arithmetic fits in one line; the figure is the one thing it cannot hand you.

The 300% turnover sits on the deposit
Here is the part I find genuinely unfair, and it hits the players who never touched a bonus. The clause belongs to the casino's own general terms. The amount you may withdraw is worked out from what you staked since a deposit, and that has to reach at least 300% of everything you deposited, bonus or no bonus. So two counters can be open on the same account. The bonus counter releases the bonus; the turnover counter releases the deposit. A cashier request sent before the second one is done waits, and waiting is where most of the complaints start. - The profile is half filled. The same rules ask for a completed profile, a confirmed phone and email, and the consent box for bonus promotions ticked.

What none of the sources describes is the penalty for going over a stake ceiling: whether the bet simply does not count, or the bonus is voided. The rules leave it open, so treat the published ceiling as a hard line.
